Deon is a well experienced business owner and business executive, who is a passionate advocate of small business, especially minority and women owned small business. He has a Masters' in Business Administration with an emphasis in Organizational Management. He has worked hard to establish connections within the business community,  to build lines of communication between professionals.  

Deon is also an avid cigar smoker and has found out that a lot of business is done over "a stick & a drink".  He has personally developed several business relationships in this manner and believes that among other networking environments, that cigars creates a distinction of affluency and commonality that "breaks the ice" between individuals.  This thought process, along with some key individuals, is what helped fuel the concept of MD's Private Lounge.

His motto "smoke, connect, & relax", is the key to building solid relationships, fellowship, and community.
